Title: Quality Operations Planner
Office Base: Vietnam – North (US company)
Prepared by: Quality Manager – Inspection & Testing
Reporting Relationship: Reports to Senior Inspector
Dimensions
Responsible for inspection scheduling, quality management of specific product categories, process improvement and supplier relations. Evaluate testing, packaging, and quality performance to ensure products fulfill customer expectations and meet required quality and schedule standards.
Job Purpose
Provide inspection and audit scheduling, data analysis, testing, and quality inspection support.
Key Responsibilities & Critical Success Measures
Part 1 – Inspection Scheduling and Data Analytics

Plan and manage inspection schedules for the Asia Inspection Team (covering orders across China, Vietnam, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, etc.), ensuring efficient use of resources, optimized travel planning, and cost control.

Manage inspection bookings and follow-up on all inspection requests. Ensure timely completion of inspection reports and data entry.

Prepare supplier quality performance reports (e.g., QIMAone Dashboard, SEP, Target SEP monthly reports).

Handle data exchange for 3rd party (QIMA) and non-QIMA inspections, FR & SR testing results, GCC documentation, etc.

Provide travel arrangement support (e.g., flight bookings) for the Quality Team when needed.

Assist with ad-hoc projects within the Inspection & Testing team.

Track CQS/SEP status including suppliers’ TC, QC certification status; ensure inspection audit rates meet CQS maintenance requirements.

Track TC, QC certification and renewal status, ensuring audit dates remain valid (within 2 years).

Review inspection invoices from inspection agents (Sri Lanka, Thailand, and 3rd parties such as QIMA) and submit to the Quality Manager for approval.

Education: College degree or above in Industrial, Science, Mechanical, Production, or Electronic Engineering.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Language: Strong command of English and Vietnamese (spoken and written); Chinese communication is a plus.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of quality-related experience in printing products, gifts, or toys industry.

Solid knowledge of safety requirements (ASTM, EN71).

Experience working with international retailers (e.g., Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco, Walgreens, M&S, QVC) is an advantage.
