Can Manpower Vietnam sponsor expatriates for work permits?

Yes. If your company does not yet have a legal entity in Vietnam, Manpower Vietnam can act as your Employer of Record, directly sponsoring expatriates without intermediaries and ensuring local compliance.

How long does it take to obtain a work permit in Vietnam, and what is the process?

Typically, it takes 25–35 working days if all required documents are in place. The timeline may vary depending on the expatriate’s qualifications and job position. 

The work permit process includes the following steps, all of which are handled by Manpower Vietnam. 

  • Collect all required documents from the expatriate/client 
  • Submit the application to the Labor Department (including reasoning for the labor demand) 
  • Obtain Work Permit issued by the Labor Department 

How long does it take to obtain a business visa in Vietnam, and what is the process?

    It typically takes 2-5 working days for Manpower Vietnam to obtain a business visa for an expatriate. The process includes: 
    • Submitting documents to the Immigration Department. 
    • Obtaining the approval letter issued by the Immigration Department 
    • Collecting the visa (either standard or visa on arrival) 

How many expatriates can Manpower Vietnam deploy into Vietnam at once?

We can handle large volumes of expatriates efficiently, supporting around 250 visas and 50 work permits per month, depending on your project needs.

Does Manpower Vietnam support PIT finalization for expatriates?

Yes. We handle personal income tax (PIT) finalization for expatriates whose income is solely or primarily earned in Vietnam during the tax year. We also support global tax finalization and provide advisory for expatriates with income across multiple countries.
