Position : Business Development Manager

Working location : Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Reports to : General Director


Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by developing project-based opportunities and expanding into new market segments. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical and commercial acumen to identify, develop, and close business opportunities while building long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
1. Market Development
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets such as Power, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor and other emerging sectors.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

2. Project Business Growth
  • Drive project-based sales by engaging with EPCs, consultants, and end-users.
  • Develop strategies to position Samson solutions in major projects and secure specifications.

3. Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical and commercial support.

4. Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement business development plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.

5. Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Service) to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Coordinate with regional/global teams for strategic initiatives and support.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation) or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial sales/business development, preferably in valves, instrumentation, or process automation.
  • Strong understanding of project sales cycles and experience working with EPCs and consultants.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in English and Vietnamese.
