Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by developing project-based opportunities and expanding into new market segments. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical and commercial acumen to identify, develop, and close business opportunities while building long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
1. Market Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets such as Power, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor and other emerging sectors.
- Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
2. Project Business Growth
- Drive project-based sales by engaging with EPCs, consultants, and end-users.
- Develop strategies to position Samson solutions in major projects and secure specifications.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical and commercial support.
4. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement business development plans aligned with company objectives.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
5. Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Service) to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Coordinate with regional/global teams for strategic initiatives and support.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation) or related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial sales/business development, preferably in valves, instrumentation, or process automation.
- Strong understanding of project sales cycles and experience working with EPCs and consultants.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in English and Vietnamese.
