JOB DESCRIPTION
  • We are seeking a highly capable PMO Coordinator with a strong analytical mindset, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and structured reports. This role requires a data-driven approach to ensure project visibility, alignment, and execution across multiple stakeholders.
  • The PMO Coordinator will be responsible for tracking, reporting, and optimizing project execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to assess manufacturing capacity, resource allocation, and operational constraints. The role demands proficiency in Power BI and the ability to develop automated reporting dashboards to enhance project transparency.
  • This is a critical role in maintaining strategic project governance, ensuring new and transfer projects are evaluated, prioritized, and executed efficiently without negatively impacting ongoing operations.

Project Governance & Coordination:
  • Act as the single point of contact for project intake, working closely with external project managers and internal teams.
  • Define and implement standardized project tracking systems to provide real-time visibility on project status, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and enforce project governance standards, ensuring clear documentation, approval processes, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate project reviews, ensuring alignment between Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations.

Factory Capacity & Resource Planning:
  • Collaborate with Industrial Engineering and Production Planning to determine factory capacity before accepting new projects.
  • Assess the impact of new projects on ongoing operations, preventing resource overload.
  • Work closely with Process Engineering to evaluate tooling, manpower, and process readiness.
Reporting & Data-Driven Decision Making:
  • Create and maintain weekly project status reports for senior management, ensuring transparency on milestones, blockers, and next steps.
  • Utilize Power BI, Excel, and data visualization tools to develop interactive dashboards for tracking project progress and factory performance.
  • Implement KPI tracking for NPI projects, ensuring data-driven decision-making across departments.
  • Provide structured insights to optimize project prioritization and resource allocation. Process Improvement & Risk Management:
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in project execution workflows and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work with Engineering and Operations teams to enhance the efficiency of the NPI (New Product Introduction) process.
  • Mitigate risks by proactively analyzing historical project data and improving forecasting accuracy.

Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data visualization tools.
  • Solid understanding of capacity planning, resource management, and process optimization.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, structured reports for senior leadership.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications (Plus)
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methodologies (Plus).
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes such as SMT, Wave, Box-build, and Assembly (Plus).
