Application Engineer

Position: Application Engineer
Location : Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Reporting line: Sales Support Manager or Regional Sales Manager

The Application Engineer will provide technical support to the Sales team and customers by analyzing requirements, clarifying specifications, performing sizing calculations, and preparing proposals. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support

• Analyze customer requirements and clarify technical specifications.
• Perform sizing and selection of control valves and related equipment.
• Prepare accurate and competitive technical proposals.

2. Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales Engineers to ensure technical compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with global engineering teams for complex applications.

3. Documentation & Standards

• Ensure proposals and solutions comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
• Maintain technical documentation and support tender processes.

4. Customer Interaction

• Provide technical presentations and support during meetings when required.
• Assist in resolving technical queries from customers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation) or related field.
• Minimum2-3years of experience in technical support or application engineering in industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of control valves, instrumentation, and process automation is a plus.
• Proficiency in sizing tools and technical calculations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English and Vietnamese
