Company is establishing its first satellite office in Vietnam as part of its Asia Pacific growth strategy. We are seeking an entrepreneurial recruitment professional to lead the development of our Vietnam business, with a strong focus on the local hospitality, real estate and lifestyle market. This role is hands-on and market-facing, combining business development, executive search delivery, and long-term office build-up. The successful candidate will act as company’s on-the-ground representative in Vietnam, building trusted relationships with hotel owners, operators, developers, and senior hospitality leaders. Initially operating as an individual contributor, the role offers a clear pathway to building and leading a local team as the Vietnam business scales.
Key requirements:
- Establish and grow company’s presence in Vietnam
- Develop new client relationships across hotels, resorts, mixed-use developments, branded residences, and lifestyle concepts
- Deliver end-to-end executive search assignments, from client briefing through candidate placement
- Build and maintain a strong local network of senior hospitality professionals and decision-makers
- Actively represent company at industry events, networking functions, and market meetings in Vietnam
- Manage recruitment projects independently, ensuring high standards of client service and delivery
- Conduct candidate sourcing, interviewing, assessment, and shortlist presentation
- Maintain and continuously develop the candidate and client database
- Provide regular market intelligence and reporting to APAC leadership
- Support the long-term setup of a Vietnam office structure, including future hiring as the business grows
- Other duties as assigned by the management
Qualifications, skills & experience:
- 8–10+ years of professional experience, ideally within recruitment, executive search, or hospitality-related roles
- Strong exposure to the Vietnam hospitality market (operators, owners, developers, or senior talent)
- Proven ability to generate new business and manage client relationships independently
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in a build-up environment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Able to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously with attention to detail
- Fully proficient in both Vietnamese and English
- Comfortable working autonomously with direct access to regional leadership.
