Senior DevOps Engineer (Strong coding skills - Python/etc.)

Overview

You will play a key role in building and optimizing scalable machine learning systems while improving CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. This position requires a strong mix of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and machine learning experience, along with the ability to work across teams and drive technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable machine learning systems and supporting frameworks
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve speed, reliability, and efficiency of development and deployment workflows
• Build and manage cloud-based infrastructure to support continuous integration and delivery at scale
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and data teams to streamline development processes and improve product quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across software systems, containerized environments, and cloud platforms
• Contribute to documentation for systems, processes, and best practices
• Support release and deployment activities, ensuring transparency and alignment across stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team capability building

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with exposure to CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and machine learning systems
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, or similar
• Experience working with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages
• Experience building and deploying scalable systems in production environments
• Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong communication skills in English
