Structural Design Engineer

The Structural Design Engineer is responsible for supporting the design and development of structural solutions for construction projects. This role involves preparing structural designs, reviewing technical requirements, providing engineering recommendations, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure project objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop structural design concepts, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation for construction projects.
• Review project requirements and propose practical, cost-effective structural solutions.
• Prepare and coordinate design deliverables in accordance with project schedules and quality standards.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, project teams, and other stakeholders throughout the design process.
• Support tendering and project execution teams by providing technical input and engineering expertise.
• Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements to optimize project performance and constructability.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and responding to project-related inquiries.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in structural design or a similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant structural design software.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction practices.
• Ability to analyze technical information and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic English communication skills are an advantage.
