- Job Title: International Supplier Development Specialist
- Unit: Composite Technologies
- Location: Cam Khe Town, Hanoi, Vietnam
- Reports To: Global Supply Chain Senior Manager
- Supports selection, qualification, development, and performance management of strategic suppliers.
- Ensures suppliers meet quality, cost, delivery, and capacity requirements.
- Manages project planning, initiation, and monitoring of supplier qualification projects.
- Required to be on-site at supplier plant in Cam Khe throughout the week.
A. HSE Leadership – 10%
- Acts as HSE leader promoting Incident & Injury Free (IIF) culture.
- Investigates supplier HSE performance and communicates risk‑reduction expectations.
- Leads end‑to‑end execution of supplier development initiatives.
- Serves as primary in‑plant liaison with strategic Vietnam supplier.
- Monitors production schedules, delivery performance, capacity risks.
- Drives supplier development programs (quality, efficiency, scalability).
- Participates in audits, qualification, and performance reviews.
- Coordinates cross‑functionally with procurement, quality, engineering, operations.
- Manages day‑to‑day supplier interactions and relationship building.
- Tracks/report KPIs: delivery, quality, responsiveness, capacity.
- Maintains ERP data (IFS or similar).
- Identifies and escalates risks (capacity, delivery, quality, geopolitical).
- Supports sourcing initiatives and onboarding of new suppliers.
- Ensures adherence to internal QMS standards.
- Drives compliance with schedules and quality requirements.
- Supports quality audits for international suppliers.
- Internal:
- Supply Chain Teams – escalations, updates, reporting
- Quality/Engineering – specifications, manufacturing issues
- Composite Management – schedule updates, activity tracking
- External:
- Suppliers – manufacturing, escalation, customer service, logistics
- Education:
- Minimum: College Diploma
- Preferred: University Degree
- Experience:
- Minimum: 3–5 years
- Preferred: 5–7 years
- Preferred Certifications: Supply Chain or Procurement certificates
- Additional Requirements:
- English & Vietnamese communication
- Supply chain & procurement knowledge
- Project management & problem‑solving skills
- Ability to conduct quality assessments
- Continuous improvement mindset
- No direct or indirect reports.
- Role does require project management responsibilities.
- Sitting: Frequently (25–75%)
- Standing/Walking/Climbing/Lifting/Pushing: Occasionally (<25%)
- Possible exposure to noisy/odorous environments and dangerous equipment.
- Some travel required.
