Global Sourcing Lead

• Manage day-to-day coordination of new product development and sourcing activities for the Asia region. Work closely with vendors and cross-functional teams (Sourcing, RDD) to ensure alignment on design, materials, quality standards, and timelines.
• Vendor Communication & On-Site Support
• Communicate regularly with vendors to track progress and resolve routine issues. Possible participation in on-site visits to monitor production and provide feedback to senior team members.
• Cost Analysis & Quote Review
• Review vendor quotes for accuracy against design specifications and cost targets. Highlight discrepancies and assist in preparing negotiation points for senior team members.
• Issue Resolution Support
• Take ownership of resolving routine issues related to communication, quality, and delivery. Escalate complex problems to senior team members when necessary.
• Vendor Identification & Onboarding
• Assist in evaluating new vendors and support onboarding activities, including documentation and initial capability checks.
• Vendor Relationship Maintenance
• Maintain regular communication with vendors regarding updates, timelines, and volume adjustments. Ensure accurate documentation and follow-up on commitments.
• Market & Trend Monitoring
• Conduct research on materials, manufacturing capabilities, and cost trends. Summarize insights and share with the team to inform planning.

• Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in the field (Sourcing/Supply Chain) 

• 2+ years of experience in a similar position 

• 1+ years of experience managing projects 

• 2+ years of experience in the commodities/product categories 

• Applies subject-matter knowledge to independently complete increasingly complex work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates good judgment in routine and nonroutine decision-making.
• Evaluates potential consequences and implications of different solutions.
• Approaches problems from a systems perspective using superior business acumen.
• Clearly communicates complex information verbally and in writing, adjusting content and delivery for the audience.
• Provides concise updates and ensures proposals are supported by a strategic business case.
• Actively listens, responds openly, and works toward alignment across groups.
• Collaborates effectively with individuals of diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
