Job Summary
The QC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing quality control activities to ensure all automotive products meet required standards, customer specifications, and regulatory compliance. This role leads a team of QC inspectors and works closely with production, engineering, and suppliers to drive continuous improvement in product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily quality control operations on the production line to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.
  • Lead and manage QC inspectors, including task assignment, performance monitoring, and training.
  • Monitor product quality, conduct inspections, and ensure adherence to automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
  • Identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve processes and reduce defects.
  • Manage incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product conformity.
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and maintenance of quality records.
  • Handle customer complaints and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
  • Support internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality control within the automotive industry.
  • At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
  • Experience with quality tools: 7 QC tools, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, APQP.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and quality reporting tools.
  • Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
