Supply Chain Executive

Location: Deutsches Haus, 33 Le Duan, Sai Gon Ward, HCMC 
Working Time: Mon – Fri 
Contract Term: 6 months 

KEY RESPONSIBILITY 
SCM Direct Material Operation 

• Perform Supply Chain Management (Direct Material) in accordance with company guidelines, division and BU regulations to identify qualified suppliers. 
• Report SCM KPIs regularly and/or on an ad-hoc basis; assess vendor qualifications and conduct annual evaluations; handle tools such as C4S, Pumaweb, Nexus. 
• Develop suppliers and procurement strategies: update market knowledge, source potential suppliers, build preferred vendor lists with added value, perform quality checks and supplier evaluations, and define supplier development programs. 
• Participate in Global/Regional tenders for demand pooling; negotiate Local Adoption Agreements and Frame Agreements; update new guidelines and processes 

Logistics 

• Track deliveries with suppliers and freight forwarders, including booking non-nominated forwarders in emergency cases or when no global rate is available, to ensure timely receipt of goods. 
• Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments. 
• Communicate with internal and external customers regarding order processing and related inquiries. 
• Provide management with logistics performance overviews, raise early warning signals, and proactively work on solutions to support high-performing end-to-end supply chains. 
• Review purchase orders and shipping documents to control deviations, fix shipping errors, and ensure document accuracy. 
• Analyze logistics operational status, inform stakeholders, and derive and implement alternative measures as situations change. 
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Logistics Team Leader 

Customs 

• Ensure compliant import/export processing and customs classification. 
• Monitor compliance with import/export processes and customs regulations. 
• Be responsible for reporting non-compliant cases. 
• Check data and documents and coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure customs compliance. 
• Provide support and/or training for the establishment of master data within the area of responsibility. 
• Contribute to improving process efficiency. 
• Build customer development plans for key accounts in the Crane/Harbor industry and related industries. 
• Project development for Harbor Cranes and OHBC. 
• Provide portfolio consulting for all DI products across all focus industries 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related fields 
• 3+ years of experience in logistics / import-export / procurement 
• Solid knowledge of: 
• Supplier sourcing & vendor management 
• Logistics operations & shipping documents (Incoterms, BL, invoice…) 
• Import/export procedures & customs compliance 
• Good English communication (work with internal & external stakeholders) 
• Strong Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) is a plus 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented and able to multitask
