Automation & Reliability Leader

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the automation strategy across managed services operations
• Design and scale automation platforms to improve efficiency, reliability, and service delivery
• Identify high-impact automation opportunities across client environments and internal operations
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of automation engineers, promoting engineering excellence
• Establish best practices and standards for automation quality, performance, and security
• Embed observability, monitoring, and AI-driven capabilities into operational workflows
• Collaborate with delivery teams and clients to implement effective automation solutions
• Stay current with emerging automation and AI trends to drive continuous innovation
• Enable team capability through training, coaching, and knowledge sharing

Requirements:

Experience:

• 5+ years in automation, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering within managed services environments
• 2+ years in technical leadership or team management roles

Technical Expertise:

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture
• Experience with automation and orchestration tools (Ansible, n8n, etc.)
• Familiarity with observability platforms (e.g., Splunk) and security best practices

Leadership & Collaboration:

• Proven ability to deliver automation initiatives with measurable business impact
• Experience working directly with clients on solution design and delivery
• Agile mindset with strong collaboration and continuous improvement focus
