Duties & Responsibilities:   

  • Research, design, evaluate, and propose architectures, solutions, technologies, and development roadmaps for mobile core networks (2G/3G/4G/5G), with a strong focus on 4G EPC and 5G Core (5GC). 

  • Act as the technical lead/focal point for the deployment, operation, optimization, and upgrade of the core network, ensuring voice, data, and signaling KPI/KQI meet defined service quality targets. 

  • Analyze core network KPIs, traffic, and resource utilization; proactively identify bottlenecks and system anomalies; propose and implement optimization solutions to improve overall resource efficiency. 

  • Design, test, and deploy new features, technologies, and services, including VoLTE, VoWiFi, VoNR, 5G SA, Network Slicing, Private Networks, and MEC. 

  • Lead 4G/5G Core deployment projects, covering vendor/equipment selection, system integration, testing, acceptance, and commercial launch. 

  • Lead the deployment, operation, and optimization of Telco Cloud / NFV / Cloud-native (CNF) platforms for core network systems. 

  • Drive research and adoption of automation and AI/ML in Telco, applied to network monitoring, operations, analytics, and optimization. 

  • Collaborate with RAN, IT, service teams, partners, and vendors (e.g. Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei) to troubleshoot complex issues and continuously improve service quality. 

  • Develop technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures; provide technical training and consultancy to relevant teams. 

  • Participate in domestic and international conferences and forums to present the Group’s solutions and experience, and to learn best practices and emerging trends from leading global organizations. 

 

 

Job Requirement:   

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields; degrees from reputable universities are preferred. 

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in the design, deployment, operation, and optimization of 2G/3G/4G/5G mobile core networks, with strong expertise in 4G EPC, 5G Core (5GC), Cloud infrastructure, and networking. 

  • Proven experience as a technical lead or key technical contributor in large-scale 4G/5G core network deployment, transformation, and upgrade projects, covering the full lifecycle from planning and design to commercial launch at major global enterprises or organizations. 

  • Strong experience in KPI/KQI analysis, traffic analysis, capacity planning, and performance optimization for core network voice, data, and signaling services. 

  • Hands-on experience with IMS and voice services, including VoLTE, VoWiFi, VoNR, and interworking/interoperability scenarios. 

  • Solid experience with Telco Cloud, NFV, and Cloud-native (CNF) architectures, including deployment and operations on platforms such as OpenStack and Kubernetes. 

  • Experience in vendor evaluation and solution selection, and working in multi-vendor environments (e.g. Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, or equivalent). 

  • Experience in developing and applying automation, scripting, and AI/ML solutions in Telco for network monitoring, analytics, operations, and optimization. 

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with cross-domain expertise across Core, RAN, and IP networks. 

  • Experience in developing technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures, as well as training and knowledge transfer for relevant teams. 

  • Experience participating in and presenting at domestic and international technical conferences and forums. Publications or research papers in reputable scientific journals are a plus. 

  • Led, developed, or successfully delivered large-scale, complex projects with outstanding achievements, and has been recognized as an expert or equivalent within previous corporations or organizations. 

  • Recognized with domestic and/or international awards for outstanding contributions, or as a pioneer in applying innovative solutions that delivered breakthrough impact for the organization. 

  • Author of research works or papers published in reputable international journals or research institutions. 

  • Successfully delivered large-scale digital transformation and/or operational transformation initiatives with significant enterprise-wide impact. 

  • Holds advanced certifications in Cloud, Networking, and Telecommunications. 

  • Possesses certifications in AI/ML and data analytics. 

  • Additional certifications in security, architecture, or recognized industry awards are highly preferred. 

  • Experience in training and mentoring in an international environment is considered a strong advantage.
