1. Scope, Duties, and Responsibilities
You will be responsible for driving profitable growth and market penetration in Vietnam, positioning the company as a preferred engineering and manufacturing partner for OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Business Development & Hunting
- Develop and execute a structured sales strategy to penetrate and expand the Vietnam market, aligned with global priorities;
- Identify, qualify, and actively pursue new business opportunities with OEMs and Tier 1 customers;
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent funnel growth and conversion;
- Prioritize target sectors such as automotive, electronics, medical, and industrial applications;
Customer Engagement & Value Selling
- Engage with engineering, sourcing, and project teams at customers to position the company early in the design phase;
- Promote design-to-cost, design-for-manufacturing (DFM), and value engineering solutions;
- Understand customer pain points (cost, quality, delivery) and translate them into tailored technical-commercial proposals;
Quotation & Commercial Execution
- Manage the full RFQ cycle: Pricing strategy execution / Internal cost alignment / Proposal submission and negotiation;
- Ensure timely, accurate, and competitive quotations aligned with company margin expectations;
- Actively follow up on quotations to maximize conversion rate;
Account Management & Growth
- Develop and grow existing accounts by identifying: New applications / Localization opportunities / Competitor displacement opportunities;
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders;
- Drive customer retention and increase share-of-wallet;
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to: Validate feasibility / Optimize cost structures / Ensure smooth project execution;
- Provide structured market feedback to internal stakeholders;
- Learn existing RFQ method / Excel/Process framework / Quote major raw materials (standard rolls);
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor market trends, customer strategies, and competitor activities;
- Maintain accurate and structured CRM data and reporting discipline;
- Provide regular executive-level updates on pipeline, risks, and opportunities;
2. Experience and Hard Skills
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in: Business, Engineering, or related field;
- 4-6 years of experience in B2B sales/business development;
- Proven experience in hunting and pipeline development;
- Strong understanding of the Vietnam industrial landscape;
- Experience handling RFQs, pricing, and negotiations;
- Fluent English (spoken and written);
- Solid analytical and commercial mindset;
Highly Appreciated / Differentiator
- Experience in die-cutting, converting and/or similar 2D manufacturing;
- Experience with OEM or Tier 1 customers (existing portfolio/leads);
- Project management exposure;
- Experience in cost modeling/value engineering;
