Lead Software Engineer, Test Development

• Plan, design, coordinate and execute test software development for optical transceiver product testing across R&D, NPI and mass production phases.
• Lead test software development activities, including test script coding, GUI development, instrument driver development and software platform optimization.
• Work closely with test engineers, R&D engineers and internal customers to analyze test requirements, evaluate feasibility and define development priorities and schedules.
• Create software strategies and documentation to improve test logic, coding efficiency, test system performance and development consistency.
• Optimize test software platforms and support core algorithm, firmware and automation development to improve test efficiency, reduce cost and reduce HPU.
• Lead, train and support software team members and new employees while collaborating with global sites on test software platforms and solutions.

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Communication Engineering or a related discipline; advanced qualifications are preferred. Candidates with suitable professional experience and a Bachelor's degree may also be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience, preferably in manufacturing test software or optical/electrical product testing environments.
• Proficient in C#, VB and Python programming; firmware development experience is an advantage.
• Strong experience in test system software development, software platform exploration and optimization.
• Hands-on experience in test script development, GUI development, instrument driver development and product test software support.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and complex technical issues across internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, decision-making and continuous improvement capabilities; experience as an engineering team leader is preferred; able to work effectively in a cross-functional, cross-cultural and global team environment.
