Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with 3-5 years of experience in data visualization, reporting, and analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with large datasets, building impactful dashboards, and delivering actionable insights to support decision-making across cross-functional teams. This role will also involve data management, item setup, and reporting for internal systems and external platforms such as Walmart.com.
Key Accountabilities
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to support business decision-making.
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
- Partner with planning, replenishment, and e-commerce teams to track key metrics, identify trends, and provide insights.
- Complete and submit item creation forms, ensuring accuracy and data integrity across ERP and e-commerce systems.
- Create, manage, and validate item masters within ERP systems.
- Upload, update, and maintain product content, descriptions, attributes, and images on Walmart.com and other e-commerce platforms.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and retailer/marketplace requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches, site updates, and reporting needs.
- Proactively identify anomalies, risks, and opportunities within data, and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Prepare clear, concise presentations to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle and interpret large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into business-friendly language.
- Prior experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience with statistical analysis and data modeling is a plus.
- Highly desirable: prior experience working with Walmart or Walmart.com systems and requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
