JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Scope:
- The Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Specialist supports the setup and ramp-up of comapny by executing payroll processes, compensation structures and benefits administration.
- The role works closely with the Head of HR to support the implementation and execution of payroll processes and workflows, ensuring accuracy, compliance and operational effectiveness during the greenfield phase.
- This is a hands-on, execution-focused role with no ownership of system design or policy setting.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Payroll Implementation & Execution
- Support the implementation of payroll processes and workflows
- Coordinate with Head of HR and external vendors to ensure smooth payroll setup and execution
- Support payroll data validation, testing and system usage
- Ensure readiness for payroll go-live and ongoing operations
2. Payroll Management
- Execute payroll processes accurately and on time, ensuring data integrity and compliance
- Coordinate payroll inputs, validation and approvals with relevant stakeholders
- Administer salary structure, allowances and benefits in line with company policies
- Ensure accurate and consistent application of compensation and benefits programs
4. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure payroll and C&B practices comply with Vietnam labour law, tax and social insurance regulations
- Prepare and submit required reports (PIT, social insurance, etc.)
- Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready records
5. HR Data & Payroll Coordination
- Maintain accuracy of payroll-related data and records
- Coordinate payroll data inputs and validation with relevant stakeholders and vendors
- Ensure consistency and integrity of payroll-related information across HR processes
- Support salary benchmarking and internal equity analysis
- Identify issues and propose practical improvements to payroll and C&B processes
- Support annual salary review and bonus processes
- Strong understanding of payroll, tax and social insurance regulations in Vietnam Familiarity with payroll vendors and payroll workflows
- Good understanding of compensation structures and benefits administration Understanding of compliance requirements and data accuracy in payroll processes
- 5 –7 years of experience in C&B or payroll roles
- Experience in manufacturing or large workforce environments is preferred Experience working with payroll vendors and statutory compliance is required Experience supporting payroll implementation or system rollout is an advantage.

- Good understanding of payroll, tax and labour regulations
- Structured and process-oriented mindset
