Production Director/Production Manager

• Oversee end-to-end production across Aluminum Frame, Wicker, and Cushion lines
• Manage aluminum fabrication processes including cutting, stamping, bending, welding, grinding, and assembly
• Supervise powder coating operations to ensure premium surface quality and durability
• Ensure welding precision and proper surface pre-treatment for coating adhesion
• Manage HDPE wicker weaving process, ensuring consistency in pattern, density, and color
• Control integration quality between aluminum frames and wicker components
• Standardize weaving jigs to ensure design repeatability and consistency
• Oversee cushion production including cutting, sewing, foam filling, and finishing
• Ensure material quality control for aluminum, HDPE, fabric, and foam inputs
• Maintain strict quality standards across all production stages for export-ready products

• Establish and maintain end-to-end quality control system from raw materials to final inspection
• Define quality acceptance criteria for each production line aligned with premium standards
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
• Ensure products meet U.S. customer requirements before shipment
• Approve final shipment release

• Lead production supervisors across Aluminum, Wicker, and Cushion departments
• Build and scale production organization structure from plant start-up through expansion phases
• Develop and deliver technical training programs, especially for welding and weaving skills
• Establish skill matrices and career development pathways
• Maintain 5S, discipline, and continuous improvement culture
• Partner with HR for recruitment, performance evaluation, and retention of key technical talent

• Develop and execute production plans based on export orders to ensure on-time delivery
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure stable material availability (aluminum, HDPE, fabric, foam)
• Collaborate with Product Development for new product introduction and process improvement
• Optimize utilization of powder coating lines across production units
• Prepare and report daily/weekly/monthly production performance to senior management

• Lead maintenance team to ensure stable equipment operation and minimize downtime
• Implement preventive maintenance programs across all production equipment
• Ensure safe operation of specialized systems (coating lines, compressed air, lifting equipment)
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety, fire prevention, and environmental regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related fields
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience at the positions of Product Manager, Plant Manager/Director, or similar roles in the furniture processing and manufacturing industries.
• Proven ability in managing small to mid-scale production with high standards of design precision and quality.
• Experience in export manufacturing environments, especially for the U.S. market is a strong advantage
• Good English communication and working proficiency is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing systems (5S, Kaizen, Visual Management)
• Knowledge of powder coating and high-end metal finishing standards.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, and WIP control.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and production documents in English.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent).

• Proven ability to build production teams from newly established phase, including hiring, training, and retaining skilled technicians.
• Strong quality mindset with clear understanding of premium vs mass-market standards.
• Data-driven decision-making based on shop floor realities.
• Ability to work under export delivery pressure and handle operational issues effectively.
• Strong communication skills across shopfloor workers and senior management.
• Proactive, improvement-driven mindset focused on productivity and process optimization.

• Experience in greenfield factory setup, from machine installation to full production operation.
• Experience working in FDI manufacturing companies, particularly in Dong Nai, Binh Duong, or nearby provinces.
• Experience with handwoven products (wicker, rattan, bamboo) or cushion/upholstery manufacturing
• Lean or Six Sigma certification.
