Working Time: 

  • Fixed schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mon to Friday 

 

Job Purpose 

The Production Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining production plans, monitoring production schedules, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient manufacturing operations, on-time delivery, and optimal resource utilization. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand, production capacity, and material availability. 

  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet delivery commitments. 

  • Coordinate closely with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans. 

  • Track inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, and proactively identify potential shortages or excess stock. 

  • Update and maintain planning data in ERP/SAP systems. 

  • Prepare production planning reports and analyze operational data to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Identify and resolve planning-related issues that may impact production performance. 

  • Perform other duties assigned by the direct manager. 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. 

  • 1–3 years of experience in a Production Planning, Production Control, or related planning role within a manufacturing environment. 

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or equivalent manufacturing planning software. 

  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning principles. 

  • Ability to create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules and forecasts. 

  • Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams. 

  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure. 

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and logical mindset with strong reporting and data management skills. 

  • High sense of responsibility, proactive attitude, and flexibility to support production requirements. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in manufacturing industries such as packaging, plastics, paper, consumer goods, electronics, or industrial products. 

  • Knowledge of MRP, inventory management, and capacity planning is an advantage.
