Location: Binh Duong (My Phuoc 3), Viet Nam (shuttle bus transfer form HCMC & Dong Nai)
Working time: Mon – Friday, 8:00 - 16:30

Job Description
Assembly Process Engineering
  • Lead assembly process development and optimization for power supply board manufacturing.
  • Improve assembly line efficiency, productivity, and process stability.
  • Analyze and improve manual and semi-automatic assembly operations.
  • Ensure assembly processes comply with quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain assembly process flow, SOPs, work instructions, and standard parameters.
Production Support
  • Support daily production activities and resolve assembly-related technical issues.
  • Work closely with Production, QA, SMT, Test, and Maintenance teams to achieve production targets.
  • Monitor assembly yield, cycle time, and manpower efficiency.
  • Support urgent production recovery activities and line troubleshooting.
Continuous Improvement
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and productivity improvement projects.
  • Improve line balancing and reduce bottlenecks in assembly processes.
  • Drive cost reduction, labor optimization, and waste elimination initiatives.
  • Support automation implementation to reduce manual operations.
Quality & Defect Reduction
  • Analyze assembly defects and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Improve FPY and reduce rework and customer complaints.
  • Conduct root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and PFMEA methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with IPC standards, ESD requirements, and safety regulations.
NPI & Process Validation
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and pilot production builds.
  • Conduct process validation, engineering trials, and line qualification activities.
  • Review product design and assembly requirements for manufacturability.
  • Support ECO/ECR implementation and process changes.
Automation & Equipment Support
  • Support assembly automation systems, fixtures, jigs, conveyors, and tooling improvements.
  • Coordinate with Equipment and Automation teams for machine setup and optimization.
  • Improve fixture design and workstation ergonomics.
Documentation & Engineering Standards
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documents, process specifications, and technical reports.
  • Ensure all engineering changes are properly documented and controlled.
  • Support audit preparation and compliance activities.


Team Leadership & Knowledge Transfer
  • Provide technical coaching and mentorship to local engineers and technicians.
  • Conduct training programs and share global manufacturing best practices.
  • Support engineering team capability development and succession planning.
  • Lead technical discussions and cross-functional problem-solving activities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in electronics manufacturing assembly engineering.
  • Strong experience in PCB assembly or power supply manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in multinational manufacturing companies preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly process control, line balancing, and productivity improvement.
  • Familiar with fixtures, tooling, automation systems, and assembly equipment.
  • Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Good project management and communication skills.
  • Fluent English communication required.
  • Overseas working experience is an advantage.
