Role Overview
The Hardware Director will lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced hardware systems that enable large-scale humanoid robot infrastructure. This role requires strategic leadership in hardware architecture, integration with AI-driven control systems, and ensuring scalability, reliability, and safety across our robotics ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the hardware roadmap aligned with our vision for humanoid robot deployment.
- Drive innovation in robotics hardware, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems.
- Collaborate with AI and software teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware with human-in-the-loop AI systems.
- Hardware Development & Integration
- Oversee design, prototyping, and validation of robotic hardware platforms.
- Ensure compliance with international standards for safety, reliability, and performance.
- Lead system integration of mechanical, electrical, and control subsystems.
- Team & Project Management
- Build, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary hardware engineering team.
- Establish KPIs, workflows, and best practices for hardware development and testing.
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure quality and scalability.
- Quality & Reliability
- Implement robust testing protocols, failure analysis, and continuous improvement processes.
- Ensure hardware systems meet lifecycle requirements for large-scale deployment.
- Drive cost optimization while maintaining high performance and durability.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in hardware engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record in robotics, automation and advanced hardware systems.
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, sensors, actuators, PLCs, and industrial communication protocols.
- Experience in scaling hardware from prototype to mass deployment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English
