Title: INDUSTRIAL DATA ARCHITECT & DEVELOPER
Report to: Project Manager Digitalization Production Channel
Location: Ho Nai IZ, Phuoc Tan, Dong Nai, Viet Nam (shuttle bus provided)
Working hours: Mon - Sat (work from home on Wed)
Interview process: 1 round only

Tasks & Duties

• Design, build, and maintain the architecture of governed industrial data platforms.
• Design, build, and maintain an industrial MES software architecture using C#, WinForms, SQL, and API interfaces.
• Define integration standards, canonical data models, versioned interface contracts, and messaging architecture.
• Implement event-driven data flows, industrial connectivity pipelines, and storage strategies for operational and time-series data.
• Develop across the full production software stack, with particular focus on areas requiring architectural depth.
• Provide third-level support for all products under scope, including complex incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and delivery of durable corrective actions.
• Translate operational requirements from business and production stakeholders into explicit, versioned, and maintainable technical structures.

• Designing systems that remain operationally reliable, evolvable, and maintainable over the long term.
• Bridging the gap between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) environments.
• Enforcing technical governance in environments where implicit conventions have historically replaced structures.
• Balancing architectural rigor with pragmatic, incremental delivery.

Network / Relations

• Reports to the direct Manager.
• Group Engineering.
• Collaborates with internal MES and third-party integration teams.
• Works closely with production managers, operations stakeholders, and application teams.
• Interfaces with infrastructure and IT teams.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related technical discipline.
• Professional Experience
• 7+ years in software development, industrial systems, or data platform engineering.
• Proven track record designing platforms or integration systems in production environments.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial software, MES, IIoT, or related operational environments.     
• Experience providing third-level or application support, including incident ownership and root-cause resolution.

Expertise

• System architecture and long-term technical design.
• Event-driven architectures and industrial integration patterns.
• Data governance, schema management, and interface contract design.
• SQL and relational data modeling.
• Python and/or C# development.
• API design and versioning.
• Git-based workflows and documentation practices.
• Incident analysis, production troubleshooting, and corrective engineering.
• Time-series databases and operational data storage.
• MQTT or industrial messaging protocols.
• OPC-UA or industrial connectivity standards.
• GitOps and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Observability tool and operational dashboards.

• Highly mature, technically grounded, and architecturally rigorous.

• Strong sense of ownership, follow-through, and long-term thinking.
• Able to make clear decisions in evolving environments with incomplete information.
