Quality Engineer

• Monitor and evaluate supplier manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Conduct regular supplier audits and process assessments.
• Ensure suppliers comply with quality standards, specifications, and approved manufacturing procedures.
• Support supplier qualification, development, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Review supplier quality documentation, inspection records, and corrective action reports.

• Follow up and verify assembly processes for grill torches and related products.
• Monitor critical assembly parameters and workmanship standards.
• Ensure proper implementation of inspection plans, work instructions, and quality control procedures.
• Verify that plastic and metal components meet dimensional, functional, and cosmetic requirements before assembly.
• Identify process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Verify product compliance through dimensional measurements, functional tests, leakage tests, and visual inspections.
• Review and validate testing methods and inspection criteria.
• Analyze quality data and identify trends affecting product performance.

• Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, and production defects.
• Lead root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with suppliers and internal teams.
• Track effectiveness of corrective actions until closure.

• Prepare quality reports, inspection records, audit findings, and performance metrics.
• Maintain quality documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Generate supplier quality performance reports and improvement recommendations.
• Support customer audits and certification requirements when required.

• Participate in quality improvement projects to reduce defects and improve process capability.
• Work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, and Production teams to enhance product quality and manufacturability.
• Promote quality awareness and best practices at supplier sites.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in QA/QC, supplier quality, or manufacturing quality engineering.
• Experience with plastic injection molding, metal fabrication, assembly processes, or gas appliance products is preferred.
• Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, 8D, 5 Why, and PPAP.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection standards.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and supplier management skills.
• Willingness to travel to supplier facilities as required.
