Job Summary:
The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the strategic direction and directly driving the commercial success of the ultra-luxury cruise project. The primary focus is on building a high-caliber distribution system and partner network to position the brand as the leading luxury maritime retreat experience in Bai Tu Long Bay.
This role is heavily focused on accessing the Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individual (UHNWI) segment through elite international travel advisor networks such as Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network, Serandipians, etc. ensuring cabin inventory is filled at target rates while maximizing onboard ancillary revenue through exclusive and bespoke guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Revenue
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy to achieve or exceed revenue goals
+ Design and implement high-end pricing strategies
+ Research and identify target markets according to peak and low seasons
- Partnership & Agency Relations
+ Establish and maintain strong relationships with Virtuoso, Serandipians and other top-tier international travel agencies
+ Manage a portfolio of luxury international boutique agencies to ensure brand presence in key markets (US, Europe, Australia)
+ Represent the brand at elite industry events (Virtuoso Travel Week, ILTM, etc.)
- Market & Partner Intelligence
+ Inbound Expertise: Deeply understand the inbound landscape to Vietnam, including both international wholesalers and local luxury destination management companies (DMCs)
+ Ultra-Luxury Consumer Insight: Apply deep knowledge of UHNWI behaviors to tailor sales approaches and guest experiences
- Customer Experience & CRM
+ Manage team to ensure a seamless, personalized guest journey
+ Resolve any high-level customer concerns with the utmost professionalism to maintain satisfaction rate
- Reporting & Analysis
+ Provide detailed monthly reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to management
+ Conduct regular "stock checks" on market availability and agent
performance to optimize inventory control
Qualifications:
Educational and Experience
- Fluent English is mandatory
- Pre-opening track record is highly preferred
- Minimum five years in commercial leadership within the international luxury standard hospitality: hotels, resorts / agencies & concierges / leisure advisors
- A proven track record of successful collaboration with Virtuoso, Serandipians or other international luxury agencies is mandatory
- Familiarity with public relations and luxury media in at least two of the following markets: United States, United Kingdom, Western Europe, Singapore, Japan, Australia.
Skills & Competencies:
- Personal presence credible in luxury advisor contexts. This is a relationship business and the person represents the brand in every interaction
- A calm, refined, composed personality and communication style that aligns with the spirit of the brand
- Storytelling instinct, able to translate ANYN's spatial and experiential philosophy into a sales narrative without flattening it
- Patience to work pre-launch without immediate revenue, while building the pipeline that converts at launch
- Comfort with direct founder involvement during the early commercial phase, and the discipline to gradually take ownership without conflict
- Discretion in handling advisor relationships, including knowing when not to push
- Market Insight: Comprehensive understanding of the luxury inbound market to Vietnam (US, Europe, Australia, and key Asian markets)
- UHNWI Proficiency: Ability to engage professionally with ultra-wealthy clients and their representatives
- Strategic Leadership: Strong skills in building a sales department and setting up distribution systems from the ground up

- Travel: available for international roadshows and trade fairs (ILTM, Virtuoso Travel Week)
- Flexibility: Ability to work across multiple time zones to support international partners
