Warehouse Manager

1. OVERALL SCOPE OF THE ORGANISATION

 

• WCM warehouse manager is responsible to manage the entire operations in Hai Phong Fresh DC.
• Collaborate closely with customer, LSP and other departments in Samsung SDS to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage operation directly, Control vendors, Solve issues, Key Account Management.

 

1. BROAD SCOPE:

 

• Management of Hai Phong Fresh DC.
• Manage to achieve productivity target & cost efficiency.

 

1. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• This position is responsible to manage all activities in WCM Hai Phong Fresh DC.

Daily:
 

• Supervise and monitor all warehouse operations to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
• Manage and ensure OS manpower booking sufficient and reasonable for daily operation.
• Prepare and submit daily reports to management and clients.
• Address and resolve operational issues promptly, escalating to the immediate Manager when necessary.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and overall warehouse performance.
• Manage and approve daily overtime hours in compliance with company policy and Vietnamese labor law.
• Monitoring closely MHE, ULD and consumable usages within warehouse operation.
• Track and report daily inbound/outbound activities and manpower usage, irregular reports.

Ensure the warehouse adheres to 5S principles, safety, and security regulations.

Weekly:

• Provide weekly reports on warehouse status and manpower
• Review inbound/outbound and manpower plans to ensure targets are achieved.
• Monitor manpower booking plans to maintain target productivity levels
• Automation performance monitoring and report.

Monthly:

• GR, GI Report
• Process and approve extra-cost cases and claims.
• Oversee the regular training plan for warehouse staff to improve skills and reduce errors
• Lead the preparation and presentation of KPI reports
• Monitor and control operating costs, including manpower, materials, and equipment.

Other Job:

• Other work assigned by managers.

1. REQUIREMENTS:

 

1. EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION:

• University graduated

 

1. EXPERIENCE:

• At least 10-year experience in logistics warehouse operation, including 5 years in warehouse management, Fresh foods, cold-chain, FMCG distribution center is preferred.

 

1. SKILLS:

• Able to work independently and able to handle multi-task
• Possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure & able to work over time (if any).
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, etc.)
• English skills need (Reading & Writing)
• Be familiar with WMS & ERP
• Good communication, People management skills
• Problem-solving & decision making.
