As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Quality Control (QC) Engineer to join our team and help us maintain our reputation for excellence. With multiple shipping points across North America, our family of brands service national level customers with outstanding customer service and an ever-growing product line.  

 

Job Purpose: 

The QC Engineer / Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance throughout the supply chain. This role involves conducting on-site pre-shipment inspections at manufacturing facilities across Vietnam, as well as remote inspections for overseas suppliers. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining product quality, driving supplier improvement, and supporting the company’s sourcing initiatives. 

 

Key Responsibilities & Critical Success Measures: 

  • Conduct thorough pre-shipment inspections (PSIs) at manufacturing facilities in Vietnam to verify product quality and compliance with specifications. 

  • Perform remote visual inspections of overseas suppliers as needed. 

  • Prepare detailed PSI reports and upload to SharePoint for easy access and reference. 

  • Manage and maintain supplier specification sheets, conducting on-site tests to validate product performance. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve product complaints, driving corrective action and preventive action (CAPA) implementation. 

  • Execute quality operations in Vietnam aligned with project requirements. 

  • Own and manage product testing initiatives to support internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Support the sourcing team in identifying and qualifying potential suppliers within Vietnam. 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:  

 

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred). 

  • Strong English communication skills, with proficiency in writing and reading essential. Chinese speaking is preferable. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the plastic or paper packaging industry (MUST HAVE). 

  • Proven QA experience in the food packaging industry, including PSI protocol development and audit execution. 

  • Demonstrated expertise in root cause analysis, CAPA implementation, and supplier coaching. 

  • Ability to travel extensively within Vietnam to conduct on-site inspections. 

  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid work environment (WFH and on-site). 

  • Self-motivated, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
