Finance & Accounting Director

Main Responsibilities

1. Financial Management & Reporting

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, management reports, and performance analysis versus budget.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Manage all financial reporting to Group Management, investors, owners, and government authorities.
• Oversee annual audited financial statements and tax compliance.
• Optimize company cash flow and maintain banking/financial institution relationships.

2. Strategic Planning & Business Partnering

• Support implementation of strategic business plans.
• Develop financial strategies and evaluate tax implications.
• Monitor legal/regulatory changes impacting the business.
• Act as a finance business partner to Construction, Business Development, and Property Management teams.
• Drive performance improvement and KPI management across business units.

3. Financial Control & Analysis

• Manage P&L analysis by business line (Developer, Operator, Energy).
• Evaluate acquisitions, investment cases, project budgets, NOI, OPEX/CAPEX, and overhead spending.
• Conduct forecasting, variance analysis, and corrective action planning.
• Ensure strong cost-control culture across the organization.

4. Operations & Compliance

• Lead Accounting and Controlling functions.
• Oversee financial operations of subsidiaries and outsourced finance/accounting providers.
• Implement robust internal controls and operational best practices.
• Supervise project control and HR operations (including Workday administration).
• Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with auditors, valuators, authorities, and external partners.
• Participate in M&A due diligence and acquisition processes.
• Support local HR, legal, and support function implementation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong leadership experience in Finance & Accounting within multinational or large-scale organizations.
• Solid expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, taxation, audit, and compliance.
• Experience in real estate, industrial parks, infrastructure, construction, energy, or asset-heavy industries is highly preferred.
• Strong business partnering mindset with commercial acumen.
• Familiar with project finance, investment analysis, and multi-entity operations.
• Comfortable working closely with regional/global headquarters.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in English and Vietnamese
