Architectural Design Manager (Residential)

• Review, analysis and approval of various architecture documentations  
  • Review of documentation of 1-500 Master Plan 
• Managing Architects. (Domestic and Foreign) / Review of licensing in Vietnam 
• Licensing and construction schedules: 
  • Various architecture documentations 
  • Manage and Review of design PD, SD, BD, DD 
• Various licensing proceed related to architectural design & construction. 
• On-site inspection (shop drawing approval, material inspection, etc.) / Review design changes 
• Preparation of design and construction order:  
  • Investigation of companies, ready of related documentations (area calculation, schedule arrangement, etc.)  
• Key Competition Analysis / Benchmark. 
• Technology review and related company research & consultation. 
• Creating a report related to design and permission work 

• Preparing and reviewing design documents for design permission 
• Proceeding to consultation with officials from government offices 

• Reviewing design documents (DWG, Specifications, Calculations etc.) about 1/500, PD, SD, BD, TD step by step by oneself and making a report about those. 
• Coordination for the best design with design company by discipline 
• Management of design schedules and records of related contents 
• Collecting and organizing data required for design 

• Comparison and review between technical drawing and detail drawing for approval shop drawing 
• Management for CA (Construction Administration) works and main constructor for building 
• Management for changing design and history  

• A bachelor’s degree in architecture 
• Experience in developer company as design manager 
• At least 10 years' relevant experience in architecture design or management (e.g. architecture firm, construction or development company) 
• Experience working with permit / licensing related agencies 
• Strong understanding of Vietnam regulations for permission 
• Work experience in management of approval, design and construction phases of large-scale residential and mixed-use facilities in Hochiminh
• Ability to identify and read architectural documentations. 
• Fluent in speaking and written English. 
• Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and AutoCAD skills.
