JOB SUMMARY

Our Client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Data Development Supervisor to lead operational data analytics, reporting automation, and digital solution development supporting operational excellence and strategic decision-making.

This role will lead a data team while collaborating closely with operations, warehouse, planning, security, and cross-functional teams to analyze operational data, identify process gaps, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and develop automated tools and dashboards that improve efficiency, visibility, and productivity.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, BI tools, Web development, and process improvement within a manufacturing or operations environment.

Work location: Saigon High Tech Park, District 9, HCMC


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Working hour: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Strategic & Process Improvement:

  • Provide data-driven insights to support strategic planning and decision-making

  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives across operations

  • Evaluate and optimize workflows to enhance productivity and resource utilization

  • Provide training and support on data tools and systems to end-users

Data Analysis & Root Cause Investigation:

  • Analyze operational and security data to detect trends, performance gaps, and inefficiencies

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify root causes of issues and develop corrective actions

Tool Development & Automation for Operations Team:

  • Automate data collection and reporting processes to improve speed and accuracy of information flow from security and access door system data

  • Design, develop, and maintain operational data tools, dashboards, and reporting systems related to Factory Management, IDM Warehouse, Indirect Material Planning team, as well as time attendance project, visitor management, vendor evaluation, talent development, shopfloor visualization, and other operations needs

Leadership:

  • Supervise and train team members on reporting systems, dashboard usage, and data analysis tools

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

  • Manage multiple operational projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment


REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • College degree or above

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related fields

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in tool development, process improvement, data analysis in an operations or manufacturing company

Knowledge:

  • Good command of spoken and written English

  • Ability to communicate effectively with local and regional stakeholders

  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies

Functional Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, Power Apps, VBA/Macro development

  • Experience with database management, SQL, or web-based applications

  • Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems and manufacturing operations is preferred

  • Knowledge of dashboard design, workflow automation, and data visualization best practices

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills

  • Leadership skill and cross-functional collaboration

  • Solid understanding of warehouse/inventory operations

  • Excellent time management skill, ability to prioritize work

  • Strong organizational skills, especially multi-tasking

  • Attention to details and problem-solving skills

  • Helpful and friendly demeanor

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure

  • Be able to go to Binh Duong once or twice a week
