Roles and Responsibilities:

About the Role: Become a key technical leader within our dynamic manufacturing engineering team. In this high-impact role, you will own the entire process lifecycle for our precision connector and cable products—from designing robust manufacturing systems and introducing advanced automation to drive continuous improvement that boosts yield, quality, and efficiency. If you are a hands-on engineer who thrives on solving complex production challenges and wants to see your designs come to life on the factory floor, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the following core areas:
1. Process Excellence & Development:
· Lead the design, documentation, and validation of manufacturing processes, including creating Process Flows, PFMEAs, Control Plans, and detailed Work Instructions (SOPs).
· Own the qualification of 4M changes and support the release of PCN/ECN.
· Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) by managing First Article Inspections (FAI) and supporting sample builds.

2. Technical Leadership & Tooling:
· Evaluate, design (using SolidWorks/AutoCAD), and qualify precision fixtures, tooling, and semi/full-automation solutions.
· Act as the primary technical troubleshooter for production lines, performing root cause analysis to solve chronic problems and respond to quality concerns.
· Provide decisive engineering support to production to ensure operational continuity.

3. Continuous Improvement & Project Leadership:
· Champion projects to significantly improve production yield, reduce scrap, increase line efficiency, and achieve cost-down targets.
· Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies to deliver measurable, sustainable results.

Qualifications & Experience:
1. Essential Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
· 5+ years of hands-on Manufacturing Engineering experience, specifically within the connector, cable assembly, or a closely related precision manufacturing industry.
· Proven expertise in connector processes: stamping, plating, molding, machining, and assembly.
· Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) for tooling/fixture design.
· Demonstrated experience in core manufacturing engineering deliverables: PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, FAI, and line qualification.
· Strong written and oral English communication skills.
· A genuine hands-on mindset with a willingness to work on the shop floor.

2. Highly Preferred Skills:
· Certification in Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt).
· Experience with Project Management and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles.
· Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PPT) for data analysis and presentation.

3. What We Look For:
· A proactive problem-solver who owns issues from analysis through to resolution.
· An excellent communicator who can train operators, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present technical data clearly.
· A highly organized individual who can manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
