MEPF Design Manager

Job Description

• Manage, coordinate, and oversee all MEPF design activities within the department.

• Responsible for systems including: High Voltage, Low Voltage, Mechanical, HVAC, Water Supply & Drainage (internal and external), and Fire Protection.

• Organize, review, and ensure quality of MEPF design documents for tender, value engineering (VE), detailed design, and construction support stages.

• Review tender documents, technical requirements, drawings, BOQ, scope of work, and related materials.

• Provide design solutions for tender and VE phases, ensuring cost optimization, constructability, and competitiveness.

• Collaborate closely with QS, Procurement, Tender, Construction, Architecture, Structure, and other stakeholders.

• Train, mentor, and develop the technical capabilities of the MEPF team.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, MEPF, or related fields; candidates with an Electrical background are preferred.

• Strong knowledge of High Voltage and Low Voltage systems, with the ability to manage and control other MEPF systems including Mechanical, HVAC, Water Supply & Drainage, and Fire Protection.

• Proven experience in managing MEPF design for industrial projects, factories, or Design & Build projects.

• Experience in tender design, value engineering, and optimizing technical and cost solutions.

• Solid understanding of standards, codes, technical requirements, and construction practices.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, control progress, and ensure quality of design documentation.
