TESTING & COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

• Work closely with the multi-discipline engineering teams in the design and commissioning phase of mission-critical facilities.
• Support vendors, contractors, and other teams involved in the construction and commissioning of various systems, including medium and low voltage power systems, generators, UPS, HVAC, chilled water, BMS, and EPMS systems.
• Plan, execute, and oversee testing and commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Support and attend all five levels of commissioning:
  • L1 – Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
  • L2 – Static Acceptance Testing
  • L3 – Pre-Functional Testing
  • L4 – Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) / Functional Testing
  • L5 – Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
• Develop and review test procedures, commissioning plans, and documentation, including electrical, mechanical, and integrated systems test scripts, to ensure they follow safety and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Witness vendor testing and identify deficiencies.
• Perform functional and performance testing on systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing phases.
• Schedule and lead commissioning meetings.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth commissioning processes.
• Document and report test results, including any defects, corrective actions, and recommendations.
• Provide technical support and training to operational teams.
• Ensure all commissioning activities are completed within project timelines.
• Participate in lessons learned reviews and contribute to best practices for future projects.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior/management.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or a relevant engineering field.
• 3–5 years of testing & commissioning experience, preferably in data centres, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), power plants, or industrial projects.
• Professional certifications are preferred but optional: Project Management Professional (PMP)
• ISTQB, NETA, or vendor-specific certifications related to commissioning
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, troubleshooting techniques, and system integration.
• Familiarity with testing tools, automation software, and system monitoring applications.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as IEEE, IEC, and ISO compliance.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Fluent English
