The QA/QC and Sourcing Manager oversees the entire external manufacturing supply chain. This role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and managing apparel suppliers (OEM/ODM). The manager ensures all partners meet the brand's quality standards, cost efficiency targets, and delivery timelines from development to final shipment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sourcing & Supplier Management
  • Supplier Discovery: Research, identify, and onboard new garment manufacturers that align with brand standards.
  • Audit & Compliance: Conduct initial factory evaluations regarding capacity, technical capability, and social compliance.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations on CMT/FOB prices, payment terms, and lead times to maximize margin.
  • Performance Review: Establish and monitor supplier KPIs (quality rates, on-time delivery, responsiveness).
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong, long-term partnerships with strategic suppliers to secure production capacity.
2. QA/QC & Production Control
  • Standards Setting: Define and implement quality manuals, Acceptable Quality Limits (AQL), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Sample Approval: Review and approve pre-production (PP) samples, size sets, and technical packs before bulk production.
  • In-line & Final Inspections: Manage a team of QC inspectors to monitor raw materials, inline sewing processes, and final packaging.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot technical, fit, or construction issues directly with factories to minimize delays.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze defect data to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with suppliers.
Job requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar managerial role within apparel brands, buying offices, or global sourcing agencies.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of garment construction, fabric performance, pattern making, and production workflows.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, supplier auditing, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Language: Professional fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory (ability to communicate with international stakeholders).
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently to visit factory sites and supplier offices.
