Chief Accountant - Garment Industry (Dong Nai / Manufacturing Factory)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, cost accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with VAS; IFRS exposure is an advantage.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Control manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, and cost allocation for garment production.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory reporting, audits, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and government agencies.
• Monitor factory inventory, raw materials, WIP, and finished goods reconciliation.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Chief Accountant Certificate (Vietnam) is mandatory.
• 8-15 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years as Chief Accountant or Accounting Manager in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in the garment, textile, footwear, or labor-intensive manufacturing industry.
• Solid knowledge of VAS, taxation, cost accounting, and inventory management.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, etc.).
• Good communication skills in English; Chinese is a strong advantage if working with Chinese-invested factories.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Background

• Garment manufacturers such as Shenzhou, TAL, Crystal, Regina Miracle, Hirdaramani, Esquel, TKG Taekwang, Hansae, Makalot, TCE Denim, Eclat, Tainan, Evergreen, Prestige Garment, or similar large-scale factories.
• Experience managing accounting for factories with 500-3,000+ employees.
• Familiar with export processing, customs, inventory control, and manufacturing costing.
