Industrial Engineer (New product)

• Development of processing in new and relocated electric connectors

• Assist R&D engineers to develop and review the design of new projects. Prepare PFMEA for new projects if required. Check and design the process for new projects.
• Do cost calculation and provide quotations to project leaders. Plan and implement investment budget for new projects.
• Set up and maintain workflow of in SAP, e.g. master data, work plan, BOM, production tools and routing in SAP.
• Prepare all necessary assembly fixtures/tool for new products. Check and approve the specified equipment functionality, workmanship and quality.
• Make new and relocated samples with R&D and local Process Engineers. Prepare all necessary documents and tools for pilot run. Implement pilot run of new and relocation production. Hold transfer meeting for new and relocation products to Production.
• Push lean manufacturing, improve the line balance, optimize material flow and production process, increase production output and make costs down.
• Measure the standard working time for new product, update the routing time in SAP system in time.
• Prepare capacity plans and utilization schedules for production equipment; determine type and quantity of necessary equipment and implement all procurement.
• Other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Manager

• University degree in engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in NPI, manufacturing process development
• Good understanding of the NPI process
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA, and Control Plan.
• Experience with layout design (AutoCAD / Visio)
• Good Digital skills and knowledge of MS Office, preferably with experience in SAP.
• Good English communication
