Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Identify root causes of production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure smooth transition from development to mass production.
• Create and update manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, Work Instructions, Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
• Monitor key process metrics such as Yield, Scrap Rate, Cycle Time, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and NPI teams to resolve technical and process-related issues.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Evaluate and implement new equipment, tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions to enhance manufacturing performance.
• Conduct process validation, capability studies, and risk assessments to ensure stable production.
• Train operators and technicians on process requirements and best manufacturing practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or related fields.
• Experience as a Process Engineer in electronics, connector, cable, or related manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA, SPC, 8D, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
