Primary Job Responsibilities
- Check and verify all accounting documents; ensure that all payments are properly authorised and comply with applicable
- policies and tax regulations.
- Perform month-end closing and analyse the trial balance until all accounts are reconciled accurately and on time.
- Be proactive in all aspects of assigned tasks and provide solutions and recommendations to management.
- Complete and submit all VAT returns and ensure timely compliance; calculate quarterly and annual corporate income
- tax (CIT) declarations and recordings.
- Review related-party transactions; prepare the Intercompany Package Report (including Appendix G if applicable) for
- submission to HQ on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Review month-end work order data from cost accounting; oversee the costing function for manufacturing activities in
- Vietnam.
- Review tracking and comparison of issued e-invoices with customs and revenue documents from the Sales Department.
- Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with VAS and IFRS; coordinate and agree with auditors on annual
- financial statements.
- Manage and monitor foreign loan and equity position data; liaise with the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) and comply with
- relevant foreign loan and equity reporting requirements.
- Support ERP system (Business Central) implementation and ongoing system-related finance process improvements.
- Provide all necessary support to management in driving the Company's goals and in the development and
- implementation of new procedures and features to enhance departmental workflow.
- Manage relationship with external auditors for financial audits.
- Review all expenses at month-end to ensure they are recorded correctly, completely, and on time; review deductible and
- refundable expenses.
- Coordinate, participate in, and deliver insights into financial reports in management and board meetings.
- Oversee the financial accounting operations of the Vietnam entity, including accounts receivable, accounts payable,
- fixed assets, bank & cash, inventory, and cost accounting, ensuring operational efficiency and internal control
- effectiveness consistent with VAS and IFRS.
- Liaise with banks, legal advisors, the tax office, and auditors on all related matters.
- Review and sign accounting vouchers to ensure all payments are properly made and approved in accordance with
- company policies, internal controls, and tax requirements.
- Set up and monitor Vietnam finance team KPIs and reporting submission timelines; supervise local accounts staff with
- full spectrum of accounting responsibilities.
- Review calculation files for back-stock inventory and inventory costing; review invalid monthly expenses.
- Review capital expenditure and ensure all capex are in line with budget, and approvals are sought in accordance with
- approval matrix before payment. Review fixed asset additions and disposals data before accounting entry and run
- month-end depreciation allocation.
- Review CIT, FCT, and VAT returns for accuracy and timely submission; review CIT returns to be submitted by Tax
- Agent.
- Ensure all financial, accounting, and analytical reports are prepared in accordance with management policies and
- accounting standards.
- Review financial statements, management reports, and budget variance analysis of the entity.
- Assist the Group Finance Director in developing, implementing, and monitoring the compliance of internal control
- policies and procedures.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, analysis, and presentation to management.
Experience
- Related-Party Transaction Report
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modelling. Familiarity with accounting standards, tax regulations, controls, and
- governance. Excellent communication skills in both Vietnamese and English (written and spoken).

- At least 10 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a Chief Accountant or senior finance
- management position. Experience in the manufacturing industry is required. Experience with ERP systems (preferably
- Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) is an advantage.

- Degree in Finance or Accountancy. Chief Accountant Certificate required. Sound knowledge of VAS, IFRS, Vietnam tax
- regulations, and internal controls. Familiarity with management and supervisory practices.
