Sample Room Supervisor

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Take full responsibility for setting up, establishing operational processes, and managing the Sample Room. Ensure that all sample products are strictly controlled in terms of technical accuracy, quality, and timeline before mass production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sample Room Setup: Develop organizational structure, arrange workspace layout, and establish coordination mechanisms with Technical, Purchasing, and Production departments.
• SOP Development & Standardization: Establish and standardize procedures for sample development, from receiving technical documentation, cutting, sewing, finishing samples to reference samples.
• Sample Production Management: Oversee all sample-making activities, including technical specifications, measurements, materials, aesthetics, and mass production feasibility.
• Technical Handling: Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues arising during the sample development process.
• Team Management: Train, assign tasks, and evaluate the performance of sample sewing and cutting teams.
• Quality & Timeline Control: Ensure samples meet customer technical and quality standards and are delivered on schedule.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role or as a Technical Manager in the bag manufacturing industry.
• Language: Proficient in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing) for use in a manufacturing environment and working with clients.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of bag sewing techniques, product construction, and materials used in bag manufacturing.
• System Capability: Experience in building SOPs and establishing workflows from the initial setup stage (experience in new factory projects is a plus).
• Management Skills: Strong systematic thinking, decisiveness, effective people management, and ability to work under high pressure during the initial operational phase.
