Head of Quality

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality to lead all quality management activities across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for customer audit management, quality system development, supplier quality, product quality compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will work closely with Production, Technical, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Factory Management teams to ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Audit & Compliance Management

• Lead preparation and execution of customer quality audits, factory capability audits, and compliance assessments.
• Act as the primary quality representative during customer visits and audit activities.
• Manage audit findings through effective Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and closure verification.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with customer quality requirements and factory standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with customer quality teams and third-party auditors.

Quality Management System

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Establish quality policies, procedures, and control plans throughout manufacturing operations.
• Monitor quality KPIs and drive initiatives to improve product quality, process capability, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate cross-functional quality improvement projects across production, engineering, sourcing, and technical teams.
• Ensure consistency of quality standards across suppliers and manufacturing processes.

Product & Technical Quality Management

• Review and interpret customer specifications, technical requirements, testing protocols, and quality standards.
• Translate customer requirements into factory quality standards, inspection criteria, and production controls.
• Identify potential product risks, critical quality points, and manufacturing challenges before production launch.
• Provide technical guidance to production and quality teams to prevent defects and improve first-pass yield.
• Support problem-solving activities related to product failures, customer complaints, and field quality issues.

Supplier Quality Management

• Develop supplier quality monitoring and qualification programs.
• Evaluate supplier quality performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Partner with suppliers to improve raw material quality, consistency, and compliance.

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop the Quality team across incoming, in-process, final inspection, laboratory, and audit functions.
• Build a culture of quality ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
