Supply Chain & Cost Engineering Lead

• Own the end-to-end component supply chain: supplier selection, contracts, lead times, safety stock, and landed cost from China and local sources.
• Run should-cost models on the full BOM; set and track cost-down targets per sub-system with design and industrialization.
• Plan and execute the localization sequence (structural parts, harnesses, packaging first; actuator sub-assembly and PCBA via EMS next) against local-value-content thresholds.
• Qualify Vietnamese and regional suppliers jointly with supplier quality; manage dual-sourcing for critical parts (reducers, motors, encoders, sensors).
• Own import logistics economics with the trade-compliance specialist: duty optimisation, consolidation, and inventory financing.
• Negotiate kit and component pricing with OEM partners and sub-suppliers; direct the buyer on tactical purchasing.

• 7+ years in direct-material sourcing or cost engineering for electromechanical products; has managed China-based suppliers directly.
• Strong should-cost and negotiation track record; reads drawings and BOMs fluently.
• Advanced English or Mandarin required (professional working proficiency) — Mandarin strongly preferred for China-supplier management.
• Experience with FTA/origin considerations in sourcing decisions.
