The Long Son Petrochemicals Complex (LSP) is the first integrated petrochemicals complex in Vietnam with a total investment of USD 5.4 billion, fully funded by SCG Group – Thailand. Strategically located in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, LSP is designed to meet Vietnam's growing domestic demand for polymer resins and boost the competitiveness of the nation's plastics industry. The 464-hectare complex includes a world-scale mixed-feed cracker, polyolefins plants (HDPE, PP, and LLDPE), and comprehensive port and storage facilities.
The project is expected to create over 21,000 jobs in construction/production/maintenance/ logistics/ back office ... and contribute approximately USD 60 million to the national budget each year, driving growth in the petrochemical and ensuring Vietnam’s sustainable industrial growth.
