I. Job Responsibilities

  • Design, build, configure, integrate, test and deploy digital capabilities across acquisition, issuance, activation, usage and cross selling journeys
  • Translate customer journeys, user stories, wireframes and product requirements into intuitive user interfaces and robust technical solutions
  • Develop web, mobile, API and microservice components connecting digital channels with core banking, card management, payment switch, CRM, campaign and data platforms
  • Design and implement user interfaces, workflows and interactions that improve usability, accessibility, adoption and customer experience
  • Collaborate with Product Owner, Business/Data Analyst, Journey Design Specialist and CX Lead to validate user flows, design requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure solutions meet security, performance, resiliency, scalability and maintainability standards
  • Support release implementation, production monitoring, incident resolution, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement
  • Maintain technical documentation, reusable components, design assets and technical debt backlog

II. Measurement Indicators

  • Delivery and execution: sprint completion rate, release success rate and dependency closure
  • Engineering quality: code quality, test coverage, defect leakage, vulnerability closure and technical debt reduction
  • Platform performance: API response time, transaction success rate, STP enablement, system availability, incident count and MTTR
  • Digital experience quality: UX defect rate, accessibility compliance, design-to-build rework rate, task completion success rate and adoption of delivered features

III. Key Qualifications and Experience

1. Education

  • Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Digital Product Design; cloud, secure coding, UX/UI, agile or DevOps certification preferred

2. Experience

  • 5–8 years in front-end, full-stack, mobile or digital application development within banking, cards, payments, fintech or regulated industries
  • Experience delivering customer-facing digital products and journeys across web and mobile channels
  • Hands-on experience in modern front-end technologies such as Angular, React or Flutter and API integration
  • Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers, product teams and agile squads
  • Familiarity with design systems, responsive design, usability principles and customer-centric digital experiences

3. Skillsets

  • Strong knowledge of front-end engineering, responsive design, modern UI frameworks, API integration and web or mobile application development
  • Working knowledge of UX/UI principles, user flows, interaction design, accessibility and design systems
  • Understanding of full-stack engineering concepts, microservices, CI/CD, automated testing and production support
  • Understanding of cards and payments journeys, including onboarding, activation, payments, servicing and engagement
  • Ability to translate customer journeys, wireframes and business requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable solutions
  • Familiarity with Figma and design collaboration tools
