Job Purpose
The HR Business Partner – Operations acts as a strategic partner to the Operations organization, supporting Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Maintenance, and other plant-based functions. The role is responsible for aligning people strategies with business objectives while ensuring effective workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness across the operations teams.
This position focuses primarily on manufacturing and operational functions. Commercial functions such as Sales, Marketing, and Business Development are supported separately by other HR team members.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnership

Partner closely with Plant Leadership Team and functional managers to understand business priorities and translate them into HR initiatives.

Provide strategic HR guidance to Operations leaders on workforce planning, organization design, succession planning, and talent development.

Act as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations, performance management, leadership effectiveness, and people-related matters.

Support organizational changes and transformation projects to enhance business performance.
Talent Management & Workforce Planning

Develop manpower plans in line with production and operational requirements.

Partner with Talent Acquisition team to ensure timely hiring of key operational positions.

Identify critical talent and succession pipelines for key functions within the plant.

Drive talent review, performance calibration, and development planning processes.
Performance & Employee Relations

Lead performance management processes for operations functions.

Coach managers on performance improvement and employee development.

Manage employee relations matters and support investigations when required.

Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
Employee Engagement & Culture

Drive employee engagement initiatives and action plans across operational teams.

Partner with business leaders to strengthen company culture, communication, and employee experience.

Support change management initiatives and foster a high-performance working environment.
Learning & Organizational Development

Identify capability gaps and develop learning plans for managers and employees.

Support leadership development and coaching initiatives.

Partner with L&D team to implement training programs aligned with business needs.
HR Operations & Compliance

Ensure HR policies and practices are implemented consistently across operations functions.

Monitor workforce metrics and provide insights to support decision-making.

Ensure compliance with Vietnam Labor Law and internal governance requirements.

Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related disciplines.

Master's Degree or HR certifications are advantageous.
Experience
-
Minimum 8 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager capacity.

Proven experience supporting Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Warehouse, or Plant Operations functions.

Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and operational workforce challenges.

Experience working in multinational companies is highly preferred.

Experience managing full-spectrum HR activities, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.

Preferred Background

Manufacturing, Industrial, Electronics, Automotive, FMCG, Consumer Goods, Textile, Footwear, or related industries.

Experience supporting factories with 500+ employees.

Exposure to regional or multinational matrix organizations is an advantage.
