Junior Production Engineer (GC & B)

Responsibilities

1. Adjust machine parameters (temperature in heating zones, screw speed, extrusion pressure, haul-off speed, die dimensions, etc.) to suit each type of raw material and product specification. Troubleshoot machine issues where applicable.
2. Operate extrusion machines and auxiliary equipment (feeding systems, cooling units, haul-off systems, cutting machines, winding units, etc.) following operation manuals and technical procedures.
3. Continuously monitor the production process; inspect output quality at specified intervals (check dimensions, surface finish, color, tensile strength, etc.) and record results in monitoring logs.
4. Manage raw materials and consumables at the work area; ensure proper and economical usage to avoid waste, and accurately record consumption data.
5. Strictly comply with occupational safety regulations; use full personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain hygiene standards in the production area.
6. Participate to ensure compliance and knowledge of EHS & Fire-fighting regulations.
7. Participate in training programs on technology, machine operation, and quality processes organized by the company.
8. Complete other tasks assigned by superior in a timely manner.

Requirements

• College degree or higher in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems of industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of physical and chemical properties of plastic materials and other extrusion feedstocks.
• Highly responsible with strong teamwork spirit, diligent and good at communication and coordination.
• Process-oriented, disciplined, careful, and detail-oriented in work.
• May require working outside of regular hours for urgent repairs or emergencies.
