IT Manager (ERP)

ERP Manager | Regional Manufacturing Group

We're partnering with a growing manufacturing business that is looking for an experienced ERP Manager to take ownership of its ERP platform across multiple entities and regional operations.

This is a critical role for someone who enjoys being the go-to ERP expert, balancing both technical and functional responsibilities, while helping the business scale through a well-governed and reliable system landscape. You'll work closely with both business and IT stakeholders, driving system improvements, supporting regional users, and ensuring the ERP platform can support future growth.

What You'll Be Responsible For

ERP Ownership & Support

• Act as the internal ERP expert and primary point of contact for all ERP-related matters.
• Support business users across key functional areas including Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Troubleshoot system issues, provide user guidance, and drive continuous system improvements.
• Ensure consistent ERP standards, practices, and governance across the organization.

System Configuration & Enhancement

• Manage ERP configurations, workflows, master data structures, and module settings.
• Lead system enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality rollouts.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into practical ERP solutions.
• Coordinate testing activities, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment support.

Integrations & Technical Oversight

• Manage integrations between ERP and connected business systems.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate with technical teams or external vendors when required.
• Assess business requirements and determine whether solutions can be achieved through configuration or require development.
• Provide technical guidance on system architecture, data structures, and ERP best practices.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with ERP support partners and external vendors.
• Prioritize support requests and oversee delivery quality.
• Ensure projects and support activities are delivered effectively and cost-efficiently.
• Act as the bridge between business users, local teams, and technical resources.

Multi-Entity & Regional Support

• Support ERP operations across multiple legal entities and regional sites.
• Drive process alignment and standardization across different business units.
• Support system onboarding for new entities, business expansion initiatives, and process harmonization projects.
• Provide guidance on intercompany processes, data governance, and reporting structures.

Governance, Security & Documentation

• Maintain ERP documentation, configuration records, process flows, and testing materials.
• Manage user access, security roles, and segregation of duties controls.
• Support audits, compliance activities, and data integrity reviews.
• Ensure all ERP-related changes follow established governance and change management processes.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related fields.
• 4-7+ years of hands-on ERP experience covering both functional and technical responsibilities.
• Strong experience with Tier 1 ERP platforms, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Solid understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and cross-functional ERP processes.
• Experience in ERP implementation, rollout, enhancement, or transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of system configuration, workflows, user support, and data management.
• Experience working with external ERP support providers and vendors.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to operate in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.

Strong Advantages

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations experience.
• Exposure to Dynamics AX and cloud-based ERP environments.
• Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-country operations.
• Knowledge of ERP integrations, system architecture, and data migration projects.
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial businesses.
• Microsoft Dynamics certifications.
• Mandarin language capability, due to regular interaction with regional stakeholders.
