JOB SUMMARY

The Education & Operations Director is responsible for shaping the educational strategy of a leading education group in Vietnam, driving academic excellence, ensuring quality and compliance standards, developing the capability of educators and school leadership teams, and overseeing operational effectiveness across its network of schools.

This role provides strategic leadership to ensure alignment between educational quality, curriculum standards, people capability, operational performance, and the organization's long-term growth objectives. The position plays a critical role in delivering a consistent, high-quality educational experience that aligns with MOET requirements and international educational frameworks.

The Education & Operations Director partners closely with the executive leadership team to drive growth, strengthen operational excellence, and support the sustainable development of the school network.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

School Operations
• Provide strategic direction for the overall operations of the school network to ensure consistency in service quality, customer experience, and operational effectiveness across all campuses.
• Establish operational standards, governance frameworks, and best practices to ensure schools effectively implement the organization's operating model and quality standards.
• Lead the evaluation of operational performance across all schools, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive initiatives that enhance service quality, resource utilization, and overall school performance.
• Guide and develop school leadership teams to strengthen management capability, operational excellence, and strategic execution.
• Oversee annual operational and educational budgets to ensure effective resource allocation, cost optimization, and sustainable business performance.

Education & Curriculum
• Shape the educational strategy, learning philosophy, and academic direction of the organization in alignment with its strategic objectives.
• Lead the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of educational programs, competency frameworks, and learning outcomes to meet MOET requirements and international educational best practices.
• Establish academic standards and curriculum governance frameworks to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality learning experiences across the school network.

Quality Assurance & Compliance Governance
• Establish and maintain a quality assurance and governance framework to ensure consistent implementation of educational, operational, and service standards across all campuses.
• Ensure compliance with MOET regulations, licensing requirements, legal obligations, and internal governance policies.
• Lead quality reviews, compliance monitoring, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and support sustainable growth.
• Establish and monitor key academic, operational, and quality performance indicators to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Talent & Capability Development
• Develop capability-building strategies for educators, school leaders, and academic teams to support current and future business needs.
• Provide strategic direction for learning and development, coaching, leadership development, succession planning, and professional growth initiatives across the organization.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and leadership excellence across the school network to support educational quality and long-term growth.

Organizational Leadership & System Growth
• Lead and align teams responsible for school operations, curriculum, quality, and training to ensure effective execution of educational and operational strategies.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's medium- and long-term strategic plans, including school expansion, educational innovation, quality enhancement, and organizational transformation initiatives.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the Board of Directors on matters related to education, quality, school operations, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS

Education
• Bachelor's Degree or above in Education, Early Childhood Education, English Language, or a related field.
• Master's degree or relevant international certifications in Education, Educational Leadership, Organizational Development, or School Management are highly preferred.

Experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the education industry.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Director-level or equivalent senior leadership role within an educational institution, school network, or education organization.
• Proven experience leading multi-campus operations, school networks, or regional education functions.
• Strong track record in educational excellence, organizational transformation, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Experience within international education systems, international school groups, or large-scale education organizations is highly preferred.
• Experience leading senior leaders, school principals, and cross-functional teams.
