Location: Nhon Trach 2, Dong Nai, Viet Nam (Shuttle bus provided)
Working time: 40 hours/week (Mon – Fri)
Report to: Engineering Director or to be assigned.

 
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB:
  • Plan, design, coordinate and execute manufacturing, integration and test operations for high-performance optical transceiver testers.
  • Collect and clarify tester requirements, investigate required features and drive technical solutions through cross-functional review and discussion.
  • Develop detailed design reports, define equipment and fixture requirements, establish test algorithms and support software coding activities.
  • Set up and verify test benches, including fixture, electrical and software logic verification, to ensure reliable test system performance.
  • Complete test bench qualification, release documentation and work instructions in line with company requirements.
  • Maintain, improve and optimize test systems to strengthen robustness, support cost reduction and ensure stable production testing.

JOB'S REQUIREMENTS:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optics, Physics or a related discipline is preferred; candidates with a Bachelor's degree and strong relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in optical testing, test engineering or related high-tech manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of optical test systems, optics, system networks and optical transceiver testing applications.
  • Experience in hardware and software integration is strongly preferred.
  • Good understanding of basic electronics; knowledge of USB, I2C, SPI and GPIB protocols is preferred.
  • Experience with networked PC-based systems, statistical tools such as Minitab, Gage R&R and statistical process control is an advantage.
  • Strong problem analysis, communication, planning, organization and continuous improvement skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a cross-functional and global team environment.
