Brand Audit Manager

We're supporting a manufacturing group with operations across Asia that is looking for an experienced Brand Audit & Compliance Manager to lead compliance programs, manage customer audits, and drive continuous improvement across multiple production sites.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the realities of manufacturing operations and knows how to balance business needs with the expectations of global customers and international compliance standards. You'll be the key person ensuring factories remain audit-ready, compliant, and trusted by leading international brands.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Audit Management & Readiness

• Lead preparation and coordination for customer, social, environmental, and operational audits.
• Ensure sites maintain proper documentation, records, policies, and evidence required for audits.
• Partner with site teams to maintain ongoing audit readiness rather than reacting when audits are scheduled.
• Serve as the primary contact point during audit activities and compliance reviews.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with applicable labor, ethical sourcing, workplace safety, and environmental requirements.
• Monitor compliance performance across multiple manufacturing locations.
• Identify gaps, assess risks, and implement preventive measures.
• Support investigations and resolution of compliance-related concerns.

Corrective Action & Continuous Improvement

• Review audit findings and develop practical corrective action plans with operational teams.
• Monitor implementation progress and verify sustainable closure of findings.
• Track compliance trends and recommend long-term improvement initiatives.
• Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across sites.

Training & Capability Building

• Deliver training programs related to compliance, social responsibility, labor practices, workplace safety, and audit preparation.
• Increase awareness of customer requirements among Operations, HR, EHS, and management teams.
• Support the development of internal audit capabilities and self-assessment programs.

Regional Stakeholder Management

• Partner closely with factory leadership teams, HR, EHS, Operations, and Quality functions.
• Build strong relationships with external auditors, certification bodies, and customer compliance teams.
• Provide regular updates and compliance reporting to senior management.
• Support regional initiatives aimed at improving sustainability, workplace standards, and responsible manufacturing practices.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Management, Occupational Safety, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Compliance, Social Responsibility, Sustainability, Audit Management, EHS, or Manufacturing Operations.
• Strong understanding of social compliance, labor regulations, health & safety, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience managing third-party compliance audits and remediation programs.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Comfortable traveling across regional manufacturing sites when required.

Strong Advantages

• Manufacturing, footwear, apparel, textile, consumer goods, or related industry experience.
• Exposure to internationally recognized compliance frameworks and audit standards.
• Experience supporting multi-country operations.
• Lead Auditor certifications or formal audit training.
• Sustainability, ESG, responsible sourcing, or ethical manufacturing experience.
• Mandarin language capability is highly preferred due to regular interaction with regional stakeholders.
